50 Word Stories
I used to have a dog in the house. He’s friendly and enjoy the companion of a human being. He doesn’t bite and seldom bark at people. Mom is worried that when there’s a burglar, the dog would open the door., roll the red carpet and invite the burglar in.
Having stayed far from school, traveling has really become an issue. I really hate to travel to places far from home. It’s time consuming and I have to wake up early just to reach my destination on time. How I wish that my home is near the school and town.
Brad enjoys playing computer games. He spent most of his time in front of the computer. He usually skipped his meals and had sleepless nights. His mom is really worried for him, but no matter how much she nags, Brad did not decrease his hours to play the computer games.
The school bell rang. And what seem like an awfully quiet, peaceful building was soon filled with noises of students screaming and running. Cheerful expression could be found on every student faces. Each teacher also felt relief and freshen up as the students left. The school holiday has just begun!
Chicken Rice. Every Singaporean would know. It’s one of our local dishes that is sold countrywide. Step into a hawker centre and you will find the stall! But what’s ridiculous is that the prices of the dish keep rising yet the portion of the food keeps getting lesser and lesser.

A lot of your stories are more like opinions – where’s the conflict and characterization? #4 is the closest you get to that.
